And We Drank The Sunset
In this greater existence, the sun is every sound, every perfume, every breath. We sit sprawled on beanbags and swaddled in hammocks, our wandering limbs feel long and happy, drifting and weightless with reverie. This must be what it’s like to be a feather. People bury horizons in their hearts here; like shelled treasure to discover in the attic in years to come. I met purple here; milk thistle, wild lavender, old mauve – all hand-painted through the sky; nature’s balayage. If this is all we ever see of the world, it’s enough.
